What the role will involve…

This will be a 360-role specialising in a niche vertical in the IT sector. You will be responsible for becoming an expert in this area of recruitment so that you can liaise with high-end clients and specialist candidates in a technical manner. This will be a sales focussed role where you can generate new leads and develop new business; you will really get to know your clients and candidates by taking the time to understand their needs.

What are the requirements?

  • You have a Bachelors or Masters degree
  • At least 6 months commercial experience where you have provided a service and build relationships, for example a Sales Representative or Account Manager
  • A fluent Dutch speaker – you are based near Den Bosch not relocating
  • An articulate, ambitious and confident individual who can instantly build rapport with others

Permanent People are working with a leading recruitment business in Amsterdam, who are looking to hire an experienced Contract Recruiter, to head up a new division for them.

This role will concentrate on your speciality, so if you recruit in Engineering, IT, Technology, Finance, Supply Chain, Life Science for example, and your background has been placing Contract candidates, then this role could be one for you.

Opportunity

This role will focus on developing contract recruitment within your specialism. So, excellent business development skills, and the desire to want to grow your own division, is a must.

You will work on recruiting in what you know best, and the sector you have enjoyed success in.

First class client relationship skills, both face-to-face and over the phone are essential, as is the ability to operate with a commercial mind set.

Experience Needed

You will have at least 4-5 years contract recruitment experience, in a technical recruitment sector and be able to evidence a strong billing – €250,000+ – past in Contract recruitment.

If you have experience of recruiting into the European market, that would also be advantageous, but is not essential.

For example, if all of your contract recruitment experience has been in the UK market, then that’s fine.

There will be a purpose built bonus scheme in place for you, aimed at rewarding success, so a very realistic first year earnings could easily be at the €100,000+ level.
