Paul is the founder of Permanent People, and focuses on placing recruiters in the London area, but also internationally in Australia, USA and the UAE. He has a background of working cross industry before starting PP, and now has close relationships with leading recruitment companies all over the world.
Following West Ham, running around after his two dogs and spending time with his family all keep him busy and relatively sane.
Louise Reid
Managing Consultant
Louise lives in Amsterdam and manages the European recruitment for Permanent People, whilst heading up our B.V. business, mainly focusing on the Netherlands and Germany.
Outside the office you’ll find her cycling around the canals or training for the Amsterdam Marathon. During the winter she loves snowboarding… and the après.
Gemma Hill
Managing Consultant
Gemma lives just outside Cardiff, and concentrates on recruiting the best recruiters in South Wales, Bristol (and the Southwest), Birmingham and Manchester. Gemma has worked for large and small recruitment companies across her 18 years in the industry, so is ideally placed to advise recruiters on their next move.
She loves spending time with family and friends, enjoying holidays in the sun and making everyone laugh with her stories, that could only happen to her.
Beth Long
Recruitment Consultant
Beth manages all of the recruitment in the North of England for Permanent People, with a particular focus on the Manchester area and brings 17 years recruitment experience to the role.
With two young children, Beth comes to work for a break, and they both keep her very busy – but she wouldn’t have it any other way!!
Maz Ataie
Senior Recruitment Consultant
Maz manages all of our recruitment in London, the South East and South Coast.
He comes to us with a background in recruiting across various sectors, and will use this experience to work with our Clients in placing the best Recruiters in the market.
Outside of work, Maz is an avid follower of Liverpool FC, is the lead singer of band and keeping up with the latest fashion!

Has the ability to herd humans to where he wants them. Has never done anything naughty in his life.

Balls, keeping an eye on his family, long walks and playing with his younger brother Monty.

Can time his sleep and snoring to the exact time when Gemma has a call booked in.

Cwtches, dressing up and eating treats.

In his short life so far, he’s eaten 2 iPhone cables, a pair of glasses and a book.
