Perhaps you have worked in recruitment for 1-2 years, and this has been within the Property, Real Estate or White Collar Construction sector. You have reached a time in your recruitment career where you’re ready to work for a smaller, independent business who where you can continue your growth with an experienced Director, whilst being given the trust/autonomy to develop your recruitment performance and realise your potential.
The Vacancy – Property/Real Estate
Our client are lead by an experienced and well networked Director, with a very wide client base in the London Property/Real Estate sector. The business has enjoyed a successful year, and they are ready to hire a recruitment consultant to help continue their growth, specifically around their current, strong level of business.
You will have existing, developed clients to work with from your first day, although, as you would expect, there is always going to be a need to develop your own as well. As a recruiter, why wouldn’t you want to build your own relationships and get the financial reward this comes with?
Speaking of commission, there’s a flexible mind-set on this from our client, in that, for the right person, they can offer a scheme up to 40%-60%. They want to you to run your desk as it’s your own business, and let that entrepreneurial flair come to the fore.
Industries that you would be recruiting into would include: Surveying, agency, planning, investment, finance
The type of Recruiter our client are looking for
Ideally degree educated, this could be a degree within the Real Estate, Construction, Architecture or similar. Something that evidences an interest and knowledge foe the sectors that our client are passionate about. As they want you to share this focus on the sectors as well.
Alternatively, or as well as, you will have recruitment experience from within a professional services sector. This could be from a White Collar Construction desk, Property, Financial, possibly Legal but certainly an are where you have dealt with professional candidates in the past and enjoyed billing success.
You must have the ability to be thoroughly credible with clients/candidates both in person, and with all written/verbal communication, as our client pride themselves on the respect they have built within the industries they specialise in.
