Amsterdam is a wonderful city. It’s full of culture, adventure and opportunity. The diverse mix of nationalities, combined with the international flavour of business which serves The Netherlands, and Europe on a wider scale, make Amsterdam a very appealing place to live and recruit.
Permanent People initially got involved in working with agencies looking to hire a couple of years ago, when an international executive search business were looking to open up an office in the heart of the city. We took the mandate on, filled the role and the rest, as they say, is history.
Since then, our network of clients has grown, meaning that we work with Dutch businesses who are looking to hire, as well as international companies from Germany, South Africa, the UK, USA and Asia, who are looking to expand their workforce with all levels of recruiters. These clients are located all over the City, but typically in Keizersgracht, Herengracht, De Pijp, World Trade Centre and Leidseplein areas, so a real variety. We also have clients who offer hybrid and remote working opportunities for experienced recruiters as well.
We would now class ourselves as specialists in the Amsterdam recruitment market, with our local office and recruiter on the ground, Louise Reid, managing our recruitment there! This has also been in conjunction with new clients wanting to work with us, because of our service and reputation in the Amsterdam recruitment industry.
