Today marks a celebration in the PP team, with Louise Reid celebrating 5 years in the business as our very own Amsterdam Rec2Rec!
Louise joined the company as a consultant back in 2019, running the London desk successfully. Fast forward a couple of years, and a global pandemic, Louise made the move over to Amsterdam to start a new life, and to develop our Rec2Rec business across Europe.
Over the next few years, Louise and built some very strong relationships with recruitment agencies across not just Amsterdam, but the wider Dutch market, along with developing our reach in Germany, France and Spain in particular.
Due to Louise’s hard work and talent, Permanent People are now recognised at the number one Rec2Rec in the European market, and that is solely down to Louise’s work with clients and candidates, many of which only work exclusively with Permanent People.
Louise works on all levels of recruitment roles, having placed many people in their very first recruitment role, all the way through to finding Country Managers and Directors, senior level recruitment positions as well. These roles have been across a number of different sectors, including Technology, Finance, Banking, Life Sciences, Digital and also Marketing, working with small start-up agencies through to global recruitment companies.
She has also settled in to life in Amsterdam like duck to water, and regularly enjoys this wonderful city and it’s fabulous parks, as well as exploring the wider Dutch countryside and cities, and neighbouring countries as well. Being based in Amsterdam give Louise a unique edge and insight into what life there is like, and she’s ideally placed to advise those who are relocating as well as people who are local and who want to find out more about the local recruitment market.
