Experience needed

This background will be in the form of around 3-5 years, and you will be able to evidence a successful billing past.

A native or fluent German speaker is the ideal for this role, but if you have a strong business level, then that will also be considered, as the position requires spoken English on a day-to-day basis.

This Berlin based recruitment client can offer, an attractive basic salary along with a very rewarding commission structure, that is aimed at rewarding consistent and high billings. So with an average fee in the region of €60,000-€90,000, the earning potential is huge. Our client is a privately owned executive search firm boutique that partners with an International client portfolio who are seeking an exceptional talent to help continue its growth agenda. They are therefore hiring within their executive search team, looking for an accomplished executive search professional who will be able to demonstrate a passion for developing new and existing business whilst delivering an outstanding candidate and client experience.

The Role

As a Senior Search Consultant, you will specialise in placing executives within Engineering, Manufacturing, automotive and rail. The key to your success will be the ability to create long standing, trusted relationships with clients across International markets. You will be working on retained recruitment projects placing senior level executives in the range of £150k per annum. The role will allow you to have access to our client’s skilled in-house delivery team who will support you by mapping, identifying and shortlisting talented executives. It will be your responsibility to project manage this resource working alongside the Head of Research & Delivery, on an assignment to assignment basis through to project completion.

With our client having a global footprint there will be an element of travel needed within this role mainly within Europe and internationally.

Ideal Candidate

As the ideal candidate it would be highly desirable that you have sector experience within Energy, Engineering, Automotive, Manufacturing, Infrastructure or Supply chain and Logistics. You will be either a senior recruitment professional, who focuses on high level value placements or be able to demonstrate a proven and consistent track record of successful contingent placements at Senior management level.

  • You will possess an exceptional relationship building and influencing ability, be commercially professional, and have a high-level of drive and entrepreneurial mind-set, with senior client facing experience.
  • Business development & Sales experience within Executive search
  • Articulate and professional, ideally with some industry experience operating at a senior level
  • Acute level of cultural awareness
  • First class presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Tenacious and determined to achieve results
  • A strong relationship builder, as well as the ability to “close” for commercially attractive opportunities
  • Possess a high level of integrity with a value system that matches and blends well with our culture
  • Be collaborative, solutions led and team-orientated
  • Able to work at pace and manage several projects with accuracy
